The ministry of Rippling Hope plans, leads, sponsors, and helps to resource Mission Trip Projects in a variety of settings around the country. These projects are available for individuals, congregations and other organizations (colleges, businesses, fraternities, sororities, and many more organizations).Through work projects experienced first hand and relationships formed on mission trips, people of all ages will learn that by reaching out to their sisters and brothers in need, they will not only change their lives, but also will powerfully effect the lives of those they serve. With our many partnerships, our goal will be to serve the least---the lost---the lonely. We will connect and assist those who have the resources to partner with those who need help. We will be instruments of hope for those who despair due to the circumstances of their lives--to those that are effected by injustice, poverty and disaster. For the many who despair because they feel that there is nothing they can do to make a difference in the world, Rippling Hope provides opportunities to learn that there is indeed something positive they can do, and our projects help them experience the joy and hope that comes from service.Rippling Hope will provide participants the opportunity to learn that through lives of service a person makes a great difference in the world. People will be given the chance to explore God's call to service in their own life, and what it means to live out "loving their neighbor"

David E. Nathan, a devoted husband and father of seven, stands as a revered community leader and distinguished former State Representative who has indelibly shaped the landscape of Detroit through a life devoted to public service, legislative triumphs, and community advancement.

Hailing from Detroit, Nathan's educational journey through the public school system mirrored his unwavering commitment to his roots. Recognizing the significance of community building, Nathan adopted a hands-on approach, fostering unity and cultivating community leadership through block clubs and associations. Beyond legislation, he actively engaged with the community by organizing turkey giveaways and collaborating with Rippling Home for a home repair program that uplifted hundreds of families in the district.

In the electoral realm, Nathan played a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity of the electoral process as the Head of the Central Counting Board for the City of Detroit. His commitment to fair and transparent elections is underscored by his leadership in the absent voter ballot counting operation.

His legislative prowess was exemplified by chairing the House Education Subcommittee on Academic Emergencies, where he formulated comprehensive recommendations for reform, gaining recognition at an education forum at Michigan State University. Throughout his legislative career, Nathan assumed various leadership roles, serving as the Senior Chair of the Michigan House Democratic Detroit Caucus and contributing significantly to committees focused on finance, military and Veterans affairs, urban policy, and small business. His unwavering dedication and contributions to Michigan earned him numerous honors and awards, including recognition in Michigan Chronicle's Men of Excellence, the Michigan Lodging and Tourism Legislator of the Year award, and a place in Michigan Front Page's "30 Under 40."
